Each of us is creative. Some of us are the spin art of life!
Others are happier avoiding the big soul connection with self and HP that comes with making things. Some might argue that their brother or sister is "the creative one." Some people feel so busy or overwhelmed by life that creativity seems like a luxury they haven't time for. Some people don't see the point of using imagination to bring something into being.

Making things is both meditation and prayer. Working with my hands nourishes connection to HP and myself.Â

My belief is that the practice of making whatever it is you love to make, knits together both sides of the brain. These two halves, joined like an avocado pit, shoot a root down into the core of one's being and tap into the place where dreams come from.Â

I love to journal! These are some favorite creativity tools.
Blank Composition Books
Perfect for those of us who prefer an unlined page. I customize the covers with beautiful paper, paintings, and used paper palettes.
Chubby Ticonderoga Pencils
I discovered the wonderful chubby Ticonderoga "my first" no. 2 pencils. Every other pencil since to me has felt stingy. I am never going back!
 Marbled Papers
Papers like these work well for journal covers. Scrapbooking supplies would be super fun to work with for your own custom covers.
Decomposition Books
Classic lined notebooks made from 100% post-consumer-waste recycled paper. I love the beautiful and unusual cover dsigns.
For decoupage: Consider using maps, pictures from magazines, illustrations from Children's books, Meaningful text, embossed paper, Paintings, or drawings.
Take an original to a copy shop (i've had better luck at Office Depot than mom and pop shops) have it reproduced or enlarged.
